1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Booking Process:
Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of a non-refundable retainer, as specified during the booking process.
Full payment must be made prior to the scheduled photoshoot date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
1.2 Non-Refundable Retainer:
The retainer secures your session date and time and is non-refundable except in cases of cancellation by Angela Lauren Photography.


2. Refund Policy

2.1 Refund Policy:
Refunds are not issued for retainers. Cancellation by Client will not result in a refund of any fees paid on or prior to the date of Cancellation by Client.
2.2 Rescheduling:
The fee for rescheduling will be assessed based on the session type and is subject to availability. At times, the retainer may not be applied to a new date. Sessions will not be rescheduled due to clouds, wind, or light rain/snow.
2.3 Force Majeure:
In cases of severe weather, illness, or other unforeseen events, Angela Lauren Photography reserves the right to reschedule the session. Clients will be notified as soon as possible.
2.4 Late Arrivals:
In the event that the Client arrives late to the Photo Session, the amount of time late may be deducted from the time allotted for the session. Photographer will not provide a refund or other compensation for the time deducted from the session due to late arrival of the Client.
2.5 Replacement:
 In the event Angela Lauren Photography is unable to perform the Services, a replacement photographer will perform the Services in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. In the event that the Client does not consent, we shall terminate this Agreement and return the Retainer and all fees paid by Client, and thereafter shall have no further liability to Client.


3. Delivery Times

3.1 Digital Images:
Processed digital images will be delivered within 8 weeks of the photoshoot unless otherwise specified. Expedited processing is be available for an additional fee.
3.2 Delivery Methods:
Images will be delivered via a secure online gallery link. Physical prints or other products are not included and may be ordered separately.


4. Artistic release

 By booking a session with Angela Lauren Photography, you acknowledge that you are hiring us for our artistic vision and style. You grant Angela Lauren Photography full creative control over the session, including but not limited to the selection of poses, locations, lighting, and post-processing techniques. Final edits and delivered images are determined at the discretion of Angela Lauren Photography. Requests for additional edits may incur additional charges. You agree that Angela Lauren Photography is not obligated to deliver every image taken during the session but will provide a curated selection of the best images. Poses are not guaranteed. Angela Lauren Photography is not responsible for missed shots due to closed eyes, not looking at the camera, or otherwise not cooperating during the photoshoot. Client is not permitted to alter, edit, or apply filters to any of the images provided under any circumstance. RAW images are not provided under any circumstance.


5. Intellectual Property
Angela Lauren Photography retains copyright ownership of all images. Clients are granted a license for personal use of the images. Commercial use requires additional licensing.


6. Liability
Angela Lauren Photography is not liable for events outside our control, such as accidents, weather disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances.
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the booked service.


7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Reykjavik, Iceland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Icelandic courts.


8. Amendments

Angela Lauren Photography reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
